About the Alliance PNW Regional Ally Rally

It's more than a rally, it's a destination!

The Alliance Pacific Northwest Regional Allies Rally (PNWR) began as an idea in the spring of 2021. Recognizing how many Alliance trailer owners (“Allies”) wanted to gather for friendship and shared knowledge, our founder, Lynn Catlin, set the wheels in motion for the first get-together in July 2021 in Baker City, Oregon. Initially attended by just four trailers, the enthusiasm and fun sparked a tradition that has since grown into one of the largest Alliance regional rallies in the country.

Today, the PNWR annually welcomes more than 200 fellow Allies, vendors, and service providers over a four-day event held in the scenic regions of the Pacific Northwest. We strive to offer more than just a rally—we create a destination rich in culture, history, and opportunities for exploration for all rally-goers.

Regional vs National Rallies:

The PNWR is a Regional Rally, meaning it is organized and operated by a committee of fellow Alliance owners who are united in the mission of building a stronger community. Like any large event, regional rallies come with expenses. Costs for catered meals, rental equipment, t-shirts, specialty activities, supplies and printing, deliveries, and ongoing website maintenance are covered through rally registration fees, sponsor donations, and on-site fundraising activities such as raffles and auctions.

In addition, PNWR committee members and on-site vendors pay the same registration and resort fees as attendees, while generously donating their time and effort to produce the best rally possible year after year.

By contrast, National Rallies are organized by employees of Alliance Headquarters and are sponsored DIRECTLY by Alliance RV in Elkhart, Indiana, rather than by fellow Allies. National rallies also typically include a team of RV technicians who can provide certain repairs at no cost.

The PNWR is honored to have Alliance Headquarters as a major sponsor of our Regional Rally, including sending a representative to our annual event to listen to the community and assist with troubleshooting more complex issues. We are deeply grateful for the continued support of Alliance Headquarters, FamAlly, our incredible vendors, sponsors, and RV technicians, all of whom help make the Alliance Pacific Northwest Regional Ally Rally such a tremendous success.

PNWR Rally Fees – Frequently Asked Questions

Why does the PNWR Rally charge a registration fee?

The PNWR is a Regional Rally organized entirely by volunteer Alliance owners, not by Alliance RV employees. Registration fees help cover the many costs required to host a high-quality, multi-day event for hundreds of attendees, including meals, equipment, activities, and infrastructure.

What does my rally fee help pay for?

Your registration fee helps fund:

• Catered meals and food-related expenses

• Rental equipment (tents, tables, chairs, sound systems, etc.)

• Event t-shirts and printed materials

• Specialty activities and entertainment

• Supplies, deliveries, and logistics

• Website hosting, registration platforms, and related administrative costs

These expenses ensure the rally is organized, enjoyable, and well-supported for all participants.

Do committee members and vendors pay rally fees?

Yes. PNWR committee members and on-site vendors pay the same registration and resort fees as all attendees. Committee members also volunteer countless hours before, during, and after the rally to make the event successful.

How is the PNWR Rally different from a National Alliance Rally?

National Rallies are:

• Organized by Alliance RV employees

• Sponsored directly by Alliance RV (Elkhart, Indiana)

• Staffed with factory RV technicians who may provide select repairs at no cost

The PNWR, as a Regional Rally, is organized and funded by fellow Allies, with support from sponsors and fundraising activities.

Do sponsors help offset rally costs?

Yes. Generous support from Alliance Headquarters, FamAlly, vendors, and sponsors helps reduce costs and enhance the rally experience. However, sponsorships do not cover all expenses, making registration fees essential to hosting the event.

Is the rally a for-profit event?

No. The PNWR Rally is a nonprofit event. Funds collected through registration fees are used to cover event-related expenses, and committee members pay the same rally and campground fees as attendees while generously donating their time without compensation. In addition, a portion of the funds raised through rally raffles and auctions is donated to local charitable organizations highlighted during the rally, allowing our community to give back while coming together in the spirit of friendship and service.

Why do fees vary from year to year?

Rally fees may change due to:

• Rising costs for food, rentals, and supplies

• Changes in venue pricing or resort fees

• Expanded activities or added amenities

The goal is always to balance affordability with delivering a high-quality rally experience.

Who can I contact if I have questions about rally fees?

If you have questions or concerns about rally fees, please reach out to the PNWR Rally Committee. We’re happy to explain costs and help you understand how your registration supports the event.
